{"id":12087,"date":"2021-08-15T14:43:07","date_gmt":"2021-08-15T13:43:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/ce\/?p=12087"},"modified":"2026-04-01T14:01:30","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T13:01:30","slug":"how-teacher-microphones-made-a-hyflex-model-successful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/ce\/news\/how-teacher-microphones-made-a-hyflex-model-successful\/","title":{"rendered":"How Teacher Microphones Made a HyFlex Model Successful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TeachLogic is at the forefront of enabling teachers<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-challenge\" class=\"h2Top0 wp-block-heading\">The Challenge<\/h2>\n<p>As the 2020-21 academic year was rapidly approaching, St. Francis School in Vista, California, found itself in the difficult position of committing to a reopening plan without knowing exactly how to do it safely and effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Potentially even more difficult, was figuring out the most effective way to teach students, considering the language barrier that currently exists at the school: while 25% of St. Francis School students are English language learners, more than 50% of the students do not speak English as a primary language.<\/p>\n<p class=\"quoteBox qbRightArrow greenBG white\">\u201cWe knew how to support in-person learning and in Spring we had learned to support distance learning, but we didn\u2019t know how we\u2019d blend those two together without negatively impacting one or both sets of students. TeachLogic\u2019s system was the missing piece to our hybrid reopening.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-solution\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Solution<\/h2>\n<p>Using Zoom videoconferencing combined with a TeachLogic\u00ae audio system connected to the teacher\u2019s computer, St. Francis was able to synchronize the in-person classroom experience with distance learning for its students. Remote learners were not only able to see their teacher and the visual displays in the classroom, but they could also hear their teacher clearly as she moved around the room. Additionally, live video of the remote learners was displayed on a dedicated screen and each of the students was easily heard through TeachLogic\u2019s crystal clear classroom speakers.
