The brand recently opened a stunning flagship store in Manchester<\/span><span class=\"s6\">, with an audio system designed, installed and commissioned by Tyne and Wear-based Blaydon Communications. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s6\">Requiring an audio solution that fitted perfectly with END<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u2019s distinctive<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> brand aesthetics, Blaydon specified <\/span><span class=\"s6\">a<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">speaker system<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> from Audio Pro Business<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> that, in Blaydon MD Paul Dougherty\u2019s words, \u201csounded superb, looked even better and would help create an <\/span><span class=\"s6\">in-store <\/span><span class=\"s6\">ambience <\/span><span class=\"s6\">to<\/span> <span class=\"s6\">encourage <\/span><span class=\"s6\">customers to stay longer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11107\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" srcset=\"https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-1536x1026.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-2048x1368.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_VOL1-a-600x401.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s7\">\u201cEND<\/span><span class=\"s7\">, <\/span><span class=\"s7\">as with<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> other retailers, <\/span><span class=\"s7\">need<\/span> <span class=\"s7\">complete<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> control of their brand. They want to ensure safe music is played into the store with no profanities and the genre of music must be in line with brand and customer demographic. To achieve this, the client provided a small audio streaming unit that would provide a music feed to the store, once in store, we would take over and distribute that as required. Although the same music was required throughout the store, zoning was still required to ensure a good balance of audio volume levels were maintained. The zones for this project were<\/span><span class=\"s7\">ground floor retail space, first floor retail space, and changing areas.<\/span><span class=\"s7\">\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s7\">The APB system included no less than 12 SP-1 wireless speakers, 9 SP-3 2-way bass reflex speakers, four subs (both 8\u201d and 6.5\u201d versions) <\/span><span class=\"s7\">an<\/span><span class=\"s7\"> two SPW-5 ceiling\/wall-mount speakers, all installed on END\u2019s existing lighting track, enabling fast, efficient, cable-free installation. The entire system was specified in white \u2013 including transmitters and volume controls \u2013 to match the clean, modern END styling in store.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s8\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"s8\">APB provides a way to achieve simple zoning without installing any cabling<\/span><span class=\"s8\">,\u201d says Dougherty,<\/span><span class=\"s8\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"s8\">The store had a lighting track installation that was compatible with the APB brand, making installation of the entire system extremely quick<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> and painless<\/span><span class=\"s8\">. In addition, retail spaces are often dynamic and regularly change in layout<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> &#8211; <\/span><span class=\"s8\">with the APB product<\/span><span class=\"s8\">s<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> the sound system can be just as dynamic as the retail space<\/span><span class=\"s8\">,<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> allowing loudspeakers to be easily moved or added to as required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s10\"><span class=\"s9\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11108\" src=\"\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-1536x1023.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/distribution.audio-technica.eu\/app\/uploads\/sites\/8\/END_APB_SP1-a-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s8\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"s8\">The APB solution is a superb hybrid <\/span><span class=\"s8\">system<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> that sits nicely between the domestic and commercial worlds. <\/span><span class=\"s8\">It <\/span><span class=\"s8\">offers the audio quality and control of domestic systems but has a robustness and ease of installation that is ideal for commercial environments. Whilst it may be a little more expensive than wired solutions, the ease of installation more than offsets <\/span><span class=\"s8\">those<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> additional costs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s8\">\u201c<\/span><span class=\"s8\">Wired systems obviously need cable installed, then a bracket fitted to the wall, speaker installed and connected, then you need a separate amplifier too.
