El m\u00fasico y productor Christopher Harold Wells adquiri\u00f3 una interfaz de audio EVO 4<\/a> para su home studio, para que pudiera reanudar el trabajo en el EP debut de su nueva banda grabado en los Estudios Hyde Street<\/a> de San Francisco.<\/p>\n

Literalmente se detuvo en seco cuando la pandemia oblig\u00f3 a que todo se apagara, explica su situaci\u00f3n: \u201cRegres\u00e9 a Carolina del Norte para un descanso r\u00e1pido y he estado encerrado desde entonces. Todav\u00eda hab\u00eda un par de pistas instrumentales y vocales que deb\u00edan terminarse, y ahora estoy en el proceso de rastrear las voces de las \u00faltimas canciones usando EVO 4.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n

Trabajando junto al creador de \u00e9xitos, y compa\u00f1ero productor de Hyde Street Studios, Jaimeson Durr (Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Train, Mickey Hart) en el disco, describe a su banda The Neverlutionaries<\/a> como \u00abalma psicod\u00e9lica mezclada con texturas pegadizas de rock alternativo<\/em>\u00ab. de \u00abun revuelto elenco de m\u00fasicos talentosos, incluido el legendario guitarrista de Kidrock, Kenny Olson<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n

Con la fecha de lanzamiento del EP acerc\u00e1ndose r\u00e1pidamente, fue un verdadero golpe tener que detenerlo todo. Sin embargo, conseguir la interfaz de audio EVO 4 significaba que pod\u00eda ser productivo mientras se quedaba en casa. Su setup \u00abreducido\u00bb ahora incluye un iMac 21.5, EVO 4, software Studio One, monitores Auralex y micr\u00f3fonos AKG. \u00abEVO 4 es un cambio de juego en mi humilde opini\u00f3n<\/em>\u00ab, dice Christopher. \u00abEs s\u00faper rentable y el tama\u00f1o reducido es una gran ventaja en lo que respecta al espacio<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n

Como con muchos de nosotros, Christopher luch\u00f3 para acceder a su creatividad desde el principio y durante la pandemia. \u00abEstos son tiempos serios, y al principio no pude tocar nada durante unas semanas porque estaba un poco asustado por todo eso. Luego me instal\u00e9 y comenc\u00e9 a aclimatarme a la nueva energ\u00eda<\/em>\u00ab. Fue entonces cuando las ideas comenzaron a surgir nuevamente, lo que hace que sea a\u00fan m\u00e1s importante capturarlas r\u00e1pidamente, sin perder el tiempo con el ajuste de niveles.<\/p>\n

Empec\u00e9 con EVO 4. \u201c\u00a1La funci\u00f3n Smartgain es m\u00e1s que genial! Esto me permite ver los aspectos t\u00e9cnicos en unos pocos movimientos cortos y sumergirme directamente en la creaci\u00f3n. \u00a1He usado otras interfaces en el pasado que no eran f\u00e1ciles de usar y para cuando lo descubres sobre la marcha, la idea de la canci\u00f3n se ha ido volando!<\/em>\u201d r\u00ede.<\/p>\n

\u201cLo pr\u00e1ctico de tener una entrada de instrumento en la parte frontal de la unidad al lado del conector para auriculares tambi\u00e9n es fant\u00e1stico. \u00a1Poder acceder a los controles del monitor y la salida con un solo bot\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n es genial! Cuando dise\u00f1aron esta unidad, se tomaron el tiempo para hacer todas las preguntas correctas y entregar respuestas, ya que esto es tan f\u00e1cil de usar como una interfaz<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Con su talento que va desde el bajo, la guitarra, la voz y la producci\u00f3n, Christopher siempre se ha dedicado a su oficio. \u00abHe compartido escenarios y me he enredado con tantos artistas geniales de metal, Metallica hasta el rapero Bubba Sparxxx y miembros de The Roots\u00bb,<\/em> recuerda. Sin embargo, en las \u00faltimas semanas parece haber roto nuevos l\u00edmites. \u00abMe ha hecho profundizar m\u00e1s que nunca antes, con todo, desde contenido l\u00edrico hasta m\u00e1s emoci\u00f3n en todo lo que toco\u00bb, dice, prometiendo trabajar a\u00fan m\u00e1s. \u00abEstoy usando la oscuridad de lo que est\u00e1 sucediendo para inspirar luz y espero que la m\u00fasica que creo ayude a entretener y sanar<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n
