Optimal Audio SmartAmp series

SmartAmp is a series of amplifiers with DSP, competitively priced for the commercial market to accompany Optimal Audio loudspeakers and control offering.

A core offering of three multichannel direct drive constant voltage amplifiers with 30 DSP settings available for maximum performance of Optimal Audio loudspeakers. Flexible configuration makes SmartAmp the natural choice for installation projects, such as bars/restaurants, retail stores, wedding venues, hotels, education facilities, houses of worship, corporate offices, museums, fitness studios or residential applications.

SmartAmp series offers three models:

SmartAmp 10 with 2x 125W power into 4-16 ohms or 70-100V and integral DSP (datasheet)
SmartAmp 20 with 4x 125W power into 4-16 ohms or 70-100V and integral DSP (datasheet)
SmartAmp 30 with 4x 250W power into 4-16 ohms or 70-100V and integral DSP (datasheet)

Without getting into the details let us just draw your attention to an interesting feature of SmartAmp 10 and 20. They feature power sharing technology which gives a maximum of 250W output shared between each pair of channels. For example, if one channel was to only be using 20W of power for some Up speakers, the other channel in the pair could deliver the remaining 230W of power for a more demanding application. This enables SmartAmp 10 and 20 to flexibly deliver power required for each channel within a pair, depending on the system requirement.
