Composer 8.1 released

HTTP inclusion and over 60 additional changes since Symetrix introduced extensive scripting in Composer 8.0

All software items in any product line require maintenance, which we see in updates of firmware and control programs, but manufacturers differ in whether updates consist of sole bug fixes and maintaining minimal required compatibility or go a bit over that. Symetrix has always had an attitude which provided more and more tools for the user and the installer in line with the vision of a 21st century ecosystem for nearly any needs in audio and control systems.

In Composer 8.1 – besides improved sizing and scaling of meters and added device compatibility – now HTTP APIs are available which allow to introduce real-time, in some cases on-line data from sources using HTTP protocol into Composer designs, including custom data, third party control systems` commands or even weather info from online sources.

Composer 8.1 is downloadable for free here and release notes are available here. Of course a number of white papers and further resources are available on the Composer 8.1 landing page if you needed more details.
