At the heart of the ATH-M50xSTS-WL is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone based on Audio-Technica’s 20 Series technology, designed to focus on the wearer’s voice for clear, high-resolution audio. An adaptive noise-reducing function helps minimise background noise from sources such as air conditioners and PC fans, with two selectable levels available directly from the earcup. A flexible boom arm keeps the microphone positioned close to the mouth, while simply flipping it upwards instantly mutes the microphone.
