Infrared communication has advantages over FM and digital wireless transmission methods, such as;

• Security – transmission does not happen at all without direct line-of sight
• Separation of transmission channels is easier physically and in the IR spectrum as well
• Lower cost
• No licensing needed – available in all countries
• Systems containing 1 transmitter and 5 receivers are available from 2200 EUR.

IR products are offered in three bundles and in separate components by ATCE. Multiple transmitters are available covering areas of different sizes and providing various features such as stereo/mono transmission up to four mono channels, rechargeabilty, various audio input options and power supplies.
